Isla, April, Luke and Teegan had an enjoyable cooking session to create their delicious response to ‘One Little Duck’ written by Katrina Germein and illustrated by Danny Snell. They created some clever cake toppers of some of the animals featured in the story. April also beautifully illustrated her favourite scene from the story.

Year 3,4 students at Ardtornish Primary School have been CBCA Shadow Judges in 2024. They created a wonderful response to the 2024 CBCA Shortlisted book for Early Childhood, ‘Grace and Mr Milligan’. Look carefully to see us living on the same street as Grace and Mr Milligan.
We were lucky at Ardtornish Primary School to have Danny Snell the illustrator of ‘One Little Duck’, visit our school and talk about his books and share how he draws. ‘One Little Duck’ was written by Katrina Germein. We drew our own little ducks.
