We chose ‘Aggie Flea Steals the Show’ as our favourite book because it’s funny, fast-paced, and full of heart. Aggie is a free spirited and imaginative girl who is easy to relate to, she makes mistakes like we all do, she has big dreams and learns important lessons along the way.
The story is set in school environment which was relatable and fun with assemblies, school plays, and awkward moments. She also faced challenges like being misunderstood, wanting to fit in and making many mistakes which is part of everyday school life.
The characters were really relatable making it easy for us to see ourselves in Aggies position. It taught us about being yourself, taking risks and finding your voice no matter what it takes.
