After reading the shortlisted picture book Truck Cat, our Transition students explored the character’s personality, movement and charm. They then created their own profile portraits of Truck Cat (or their own imagined version), using line, shape and colour to express emotion and character. These vibrant artworks capture each student’s unique response to the story and its feline star!
