The Truck Cat received an overwhelming number of votes from Year 3 students at Rowellyn Park Primary School. Students appreciated the heart-warming story, and were able to make many personal connections to it. As a creative response, students who voted for The Truck Cat were provided with a range of materials and asked to design and create a toy for Tinka that would help keep him close to his family.
