Our group had a picnic afternoon tea in the garden while we read ‘The Concrete Garden’ and talked about how the author Bob Graham felt the message was of ‘hope’.
We loved the details of the children’s chalk drawings in the book and our whole family joined in drawing our own pictures on the driveway.
