After we read Afloat, we were inspired to create our own version of the weaving using natural items from our large playground. We first found four sticks and bound them together into a rectangle shape using wool. Then we created a warp using the wool by wrapping it around our stick frame. For the weft, we collected leaves, flowers, feathers and branches and wove them into a pattern.
