We examined the way that leaves change after they are removed or fall from the tree or bush and created the spectrum of leaves. Be this was then mixed with all the different emotions we connected with grief.
Stage 3 selected The Truck Cat as their winning book. These are some of the responses that were completed for The Truck Cat. Some students decided that their should be sequels to this book and created book covers for these books using Canva. Canva was also used to re-create the original cover.

At CPS Year 3s and Year 4s explored weaving by making bookmarks. We used neutral colours represented in Afloat. Students looked at metaphors and the importance to connect to community/nature/family/First Nations etc. Students connected with their peers while weaving bookmarks.
