A wreck of Seabirds: Creative Response

I chose to make a collage for creative response because it further emphasises the broken reality of the characters Ren and Briony in this book. The distorted images reflect on the main character’s loss of sense and isolation from the world as they struggle to let go of someone they love. I used images of seabirds because they symbolise loneliness and loss of freedom which reflect the characters thoughts and feelings in this book.
