Essington School Year 1: Response to “Don’t Worry, Felix”

Group: Early Childhood Shadow Judges

In Buddy Class, after reading Don’t Worry, Felix by Katherine Alice and Yohann Devezy, we discussed how important it is to recognize and identify our worries so we can then deal with them effectively. The students created their very own little “worry monsters” so they could write down and feed their worries to their monster.

This activity provides a tangible way for students to externalise and manage their worries.
