I chose this book because it is about nature and we need this for air. I chose to respond in this way because it is a great book to read and I chose the diorama because it looks like the part when it crosses the road. I like the illustrator because you read the picture pages.

I chose this book because it’s about nature and we need trees for air. I chose to respond in this way because it is about nature and without it animals would have nowhere to live. The things I liked about the illustrations were that they were very detailed. You shouldn’t chop down trees is the message in this book because we need trees. I liked the boy because he protected the trees and we need trees. An interesting fact I learned is that trees can be different shapes. I think Freya Blackwood wrote this book to show that we should care for nature. The materials I used were dirt, leaves, twigs, cardboard, tape and glue to represent nature. I think that some characters should have been added to this book.

I chose this book because I liked the illustrations. I chose to respond in this way because making the garden scene was fun. The things I liked about the illustrations were the animals. The message in this book is important because we shouldn’t cut down trees. An interesting fact I learned is that trees can be many different shapes. I think the author wrote this book to show that trees are important. The materials I used were soil and plants because we don’t usually get to use things like that to make things.
