On 26th July, author and illustrator Christina Booth Zoom called the STM Shadow Judging group. She took us through her thought process while writing and illustrating her books, and explained how picture books are made. She answered our questions in detail, and explained the criteria in a way that was easy to understand. She had wanted to be an author and illustrator since she was a child. We learnt a lot from her visit, and gained a new perspective on picture books.
