Amira’s Suitcase

When Amira is playing hide and seek, she goes to hide in a suitcase. Before she climbs in, she notices a green sprout sticking out the side. When she sees it, she moves the plant into the sun to help it grow. The plant quickly becomes Amira’s friend.  She shares some of her water with it, and talks to it. As the seed grows, so does Amira’s happiness and friendships. She meets 2 friends and they both give her a seed to plant with her sprout. Before long, the friends have grown and so have the plants. They climb up the trees together. The tree is a symbol of hope and friendship. The images in Amira’s Suitcase are awesome and link really well to the story
