It was a very exciting for our students to have a visit from author and illustrator Lucinda Gifford this week.

Lucinda shared details about her childhood love of drawing, examples of her sketchbooks and how she turned her passion into a full time job. The girls were really interested in how she found her inspiration for stories and characters from real life settings, events and animals

Another highlight of the visit was when Lucinda created an amazing artwork based on the animal suggestions of our students.
