Our book club really enjoyed That Bird Has Arms! by Jol & Kate Temple. Some of our members shared how it reminded them of being bullied due to their autism or shyness. Our creative response consisted of chicken crafts and images of chicken with arms. Students and staff chose the chicken that spoke to their individual uniqueness and journey in life.
