Our book club noticed a lot of similarities between Every Night at Midnight by Peter Cheong and That Bird Has Arms! by Jol & Kate Temple so we decided to show this in a Venn diagram. This led to some interesting conversations on neurodivergence, anxiety, and disabilities. The multiple layers in the storyline and images of Every Night at Midnight were fascinating to explore. Some of our members noticed the future friends of the little boy peering out of the windows, hoping to join him in his midnight adventures.
